You didn’t think we would let a little thing like a world-wide pandemic deprive you of the nectar, did you?

To put it simply, Japa is the life of the sincere sadhaka. Swami BV Tripurari has said that during his formative years as a young devotee, he gave nothing more attention than his Japa; everything came from this. If we follow in his footsteps by making Japa the most important part of our life, who can say what devotional fruits may come!

The intention of this Japa Retreat is to offer support to each other, so that we may cultivate more attentive, sincere, and prayerful Japa in our daily lives.

We are blessed to be nourished during this retreat by the humble presence and relishable siksa of Bhakti Vedanta Swami Tripurari Maharaja, Bhakti Pranaya Padmanabha Maharaja and Arcana-siddhi.

Bhakti Vedanta Swami Tripurari Maharaja, known for his superlative classes on the nature of consciousness, dynamic devotional practices and sweet glimpses into the intimate life of the supreme, will generously share his wisdom and experience about japa with a special visit on Sunday. Swami will surely offer us some gems as he dives deeply into this topic.

Bhakti Pranaya Padmanabha Maharaja is the main presenter at this japa retreat. His profound insight into scriptural conclusions, as well as his unrelenting service to Guru and Gauranga, are outer signs of a deep inner life with the Holy Name. He will be sharing this wealth with us in daily classes, building a solid foundation of Hari Nama siddhanta, and inviting us in, so that a taste for Japa may be brought about in our hearts, if we sincerely approach.

Arcana Siddhi will offer some practical tips for chanting. Arcana brings a great wealth of experience in participating and leading Japa retreats, as well as a long life of service to the Holy Name. We are very grateful for her leadership and devotional inspiration.
