Because of the deep nourishment received by the participants last year (more than 100), we anticipate even more will be gathering this October, from all across the US, at this mecca of inspiration. We are going to do our darnedest to have YOU be counted among them.

Service Opportunities

We are using VolunteerSpot to organize service opportunities during the festival. If you plan to attend, and want to help please click the button below to sign up. After clicking the button you will be prompted to enter your email address. Then choose the service(s) you would like to offer on the day(s) specified. Contact Bhakti-rasa if you prefer not to use your email.

Important Note: Festival Fees!

This year, similar to Audarya, we are implementing festival fees. As you may or may not know, the costs of holding our ten-day Saragrahi festival far exceeds several thousand dollars. We are initiating festival fees in order to reduce these costs to the ashrama and as a part of our new fundraising initiative. Your daily fees will include yummy prasad, workshops, and of course, sadhu sanga!

Click on the registration link below and register for as many individual days as you plan on attending OR, you may register for the entire 10-day festival!

Early bird special: $20 per day per adult, $10 for teens ages 13-18; FREE for children 12 and under.

The fees increase beginning October 3rd to: $25 per day per adult, and $15 for teens ages 13-18.

Scholarship Fund

Please note: if you can pay MORE than the required fee, please consider doing so as a contribution to our scholarship fund, which will help offset costs for those who cannot afford the fees. We want everyone to attend the festival, regardless of their ability to pay. Your donation to the scholarship fund will ensure this. If you are in need of a scholarship, please contact Bhaktirasa at bhaktirasa@saragrahi.com.

Super Exciting News – Barnashram Completion

We stand a VERY good chance that the barnashram will have its occupancy permit and be functional by Govardhan Puja. For the pleasure of Giriraja, the cows and Vaishnavas, the ashramites are giving it their all, working double shifts to see that this can happen.

We need to raise $5,000 for stall mats for the cows and fencing for their pastures in order to do this. Imagine celebrating Gopuja on Saragrahi’s own land, with the cows frolicking around us in their new fields.

Matching Gift
In addition to the amount raised so far, an anonymous donor has offered a matching gift of $1,000. So, as soon as the bar raises to $2,000, you will see it jump to $3,000 and we will be more than half way to our goal of moving the cows to Saragrahi.

If you would like to be a part of making this momentous occasion happen, of bringing great joy to yourself by this gift, you can gift right now by clicking on the “Make a Gift Now” button:
